:O OMG! I'm married!! he he he
On March 20th, 2004 I married my friend. In a bright and colourful setting we exchanged our vows and pledged ourselves to a life together... for better or for worse. Surrounded by family and a few good friends we laughed, we joked, and we wished we could sit down LOL. Afterwards, we had our reception at a local resturaunt, which i wished we could've stayed there longer. As an after thought, I really wished we picked a different place. The day seemed to fly by so fast, it was over before I was ready to begin.
Instead of renting a hall, we decided to go out to a few local watering holes. First stop was at an old english pub that had great service, music and drink....... And to disspell the myth that most couples have a night of untamed passion, on their wedding night, we staggered home, crawled into bed, and quickly fell asleep.
Life is still the same. The biggest difference is my name. With many choices women have today regarding their last name upon marriage, I stuck to tradition and took my husband's name. I'm still learning to sign my new signature. I laugh everytime I sign something, because I usually fluster a bit and mess it up. I have yet to change over most of my id. The first actual item I have with my new name is my bank card. So until I receive my new id, I'm stuck carrying around my marriage certificate LOL.
